United Bank, the West Springfield-based bank with several locations in the Worcester area, has hired Kristyn Samere as human resources officer.
Samere previously worked in HR for SS&C Technologies Inc. in Windsor, Conn., and, before that, for Xpedx and Wellington Steele & Associate in Rochester, N.Y. Her new position makes her responsible for the daily functions of the HR department, particularly training and development.
Samere has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N.Y. She lives in Westfield.
