United Bank adds to commercial lending team

Kevin Peterssen has joined the commercial lending team for United Bank in Worcester.
United Bank has added Kevin Peterssen to its commercial lending team in Worcester.
Peterssen, a CPA, was brought on after serving most recently as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer for People’s United Bank for the Worcester region, where he was responsible for business development in business banking and the middle market as well as managing and expanding the People’s United’s existing commercial portfolio.
Peterssen earned an MBA and bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Assumption College in Worcester and earned his CPA designation in 2010. He was in public accounting for almost three years before he joined People’s United Bank.
According to William H.W. Crawford, IV, Chief Executive Officer of United Bank and United Financial Bancorp, Inc., this hire follows success in the Worcester market for the bank that recruited a commercial banking team led by Tom McGregor 18 months ago.
