Whitinsville-based UniBank for Savings has donated $2,500 to the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation to help fund workforce development programs.
The programs include school-to-career programs and others that help prepare students for work at firms in the Blackstone Valley.
Susan Gately, the foundation’s executive director, said youth leadership, the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics Conference, internships, grants to teachers and other workforce development activities are supported with the donations it receives.
