Whitinsville-based UniBank has named Douglas Moisan, a former Commerce Bank finance executive, as its new chief financial officer and senior vice president.
Moisan will assume both the role of senior vice president and CFO, responsible for financial management of the bank and executing the bank’s financial policies and procedures. UniBank President and CEO Sam Pepper announced Moisan’s hiring Wednesday.
Moisan comes to Unibank with more than 21 years of banking experience, most recently as senior vice president for finance at Commerce Bank in Worcester. He holds several degrees, including a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Assumption College and an MBA from Nichols College.
The certified public accountant is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
“Doug brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that will complement our executive leadership team,” Pepper said. “His industry knowledge and proven leadership talents will be integral to UniBank as we continue to grow.”
