UMass Online Revenue Up 20%

UMass Online, the Shrewsbury-based online learning division of the University of Massachusetts, said revenue increased by 20 percent to $56.2 million during its 2010 fiscal year.

The organization also reported an enrollment increase of 14.4 percent to 45,815.

UMass Online was founded in 2001 and it has seen double-digit growth in both enrollment and revenue every year since then.

During the year, UMass campuses in Amherst, Boston and Lowell launched six new online offerings to add to UMass Online’s 95 undergraduate and graduate degrees, certificates and professional development programs.
