UMass Memorial Health Care has renewed its supply chain management agreement with Dallas-based Broadlane for three years.
Broadlane maintains a national contract portfolio of supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and services and manages about $156 million in supply spending annually, the company said. UMass Memorial Health Care has saved nearly $12 million over the last three years working with Broadlane, the company said.
UMass Memorial Health Care, which includes five hospitals and various other programs, uses Broadlane for a variety of services, including the sourcing of contract employees.
Under its new, three-year agreement, the system will also use Broadlane’s clinical consulting and value analysis services.
