UMass Medical receives $250K for pediatric cancer research

The University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester will receive $250,000 for pediatric cancer research from the nonprofit arm of Hyundai Motor America.
Hyundai Hope on Wheels announced Thursday it will award $7.5 million in new pediatric cancer research to 59 institutions, including 34 hospitals, nationwide in September.
UMass Medical School was one of 24 institutions to receive a $250,000 scholar grant.
