The Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce named the president and CEO of UMass Memorial Health-Marlborough Hospital and UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster as the chamber’s new board chair for a two year term.
Steven Roach takes over the role from Pamela Stevens, a partner at Worcester law firm Seder & Chandler.
“Steve has served as an important member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee for several years and is a valued leader in the community,” chamber President and CEO Karen Chapman said in a Wednesday press release from the chamber. “We are fortunate to have his respected leadership as we continue to advance the interests of our members and work together to promote the Corridor 9/495 Region.”
Roach has served as president and CEO of Marlborough Hospital since November 2013 and president of HealthAlliance since 2019. Prior to that, Roach worked his way through the executive ranks at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, becoming CEO in 2006.
