Tree House Brewing Co., the reclusive Charlton brewery, is venturing of out the confines of Central Massachusetts, joining the outdoor beer garden movement in New England’s biggest city.
For four nights in June and July, Tree House will join other vendors and musicians from the Berklee College of Music at the South Garden of Boston’s Prudential Center.
The brewery will feature a rotating list of eight beers between 12 and 16 ounces for $8 a piece. Entrance to the event is free.
“We are very much looking forward to sharing a beer with you, and listening to some extraordinary music in a comfortable and beautiful environment right in the heart of the city!” the brewery said in a blog post.
The brewery rarely makes its beer available outside of its Charlton brewhouse and taproom, but the beermakers usually grab headlines on those rare occasions, like last fall when New England Patriots fans were delighted to find Tree House cans being sold at Gillette Stadium.
Rarely, the beer can be found on tap in a select few restaurants, like Worcester’s Armsby Abbey.
The events will be held June 13 and 27, and July 17 and 25.
In another blog post Thursday, the brewery wrote about its first seven years of business and plans for the future, including plans for new beers as well as wine, cider and mead from its newly purchased farm in Woodstock, Conn.
Hey Boston, want to drink some beers with us?
We are excited to take part in four evenings with some friends @BerkleeCollege to include great beer, great music, and convivial vibes in the south garden at the Prudential Center!

In addition, its former Monson brewhouse is home to a “mass of barrels conditioning high gravity beers.”
Future plans are imminent, the brewery wrote.
“We are just a baby, and we are planning to be around for a very long time,” the brewery said. “We are energized, emboldened, and brimming with excitement for what is to come.”
