TransAct relocates to Hamden

In simultaneous relocations, TransAct Technologies Inc. has moved its corporate headquarters from an industrial space in Wallingford to an office space in Hamden, while also moving its repair center to New Britain, the company said. TransAct, which makes custom printers for the gaming industry, said that although the move gives the company less total square footage, the relocations will provide the company the room to expand its operations. The Hamden space is 11,000 square feet., while the New Britain repair center is 10,000. TransAct also has offices in Las Vegas, Nev., Ithaca, N.Y., Doncaster, England, and Macau, China.
