Hopkinton-based data-storage giant EMC has placed second on Training Magazine ‘s list of the top 125 companies for employee training.
EMC said this is the fifth consecutive year it has appeared on the list, and that it placed third last year. The magazine ranks companies with employer-sponsored workforce training and development programs. EMC is the highest-ranked information technology company on the list.
EMC offers a variety of training and leadership development programs for both new hires and experienced employees. The company also supports math and science education in local middle and high schools and sponsors math, science and engineering competitions for students.
New York-based accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers placed first on the list.
