A retail complex in Townsend has been purchased by a Miami-based real estate investment group for $6.25 million.
FEDEQ NL004 LLC, an affiliate of The Federated Cos., bought the Hannaford-anchored shopping and professional centers March 20 from Harbor Village Associates LP, an affiliate of Illinois-based Bixby Bridge Capital.
Tenants in the 107,787-square-foot complex located at 4-20 Main St. include Bailey’s Bar and Grill, Rite Aid Pharmacy and Precision Vision.
The Federated, which has offices in Lawrence, owns several apartment complexes in Massachusetts and is building a mixed-use development in Maine, according to the company’s website, though it has sold off most of its retail holdings.
The company didn’t immediately return requests for comment.
Bixby Bridge purchased the property in a 1993 bankruptcy sale for $5 million, according to town property records.
