David Diamond is the new chief operating officer at Wayland-based Tourtellotte Solutions, a software provider for the pharmaceutical, retail, and consumer goods markets. Diamond will be responsible for day-to-day operations and systems improvements.
Tourtellotte, which processess billions of dollars worth of transactions in over 50 countries each year, hired Diamond from Lowell-based Amperion, a broadband services company he co-founded. Diamond also served at Redleaf Group, a venture capital firm, and served as general manager of Corporate Technology Planning at Verizon.
Users of Tourtellotte Solutions software include Staples, Target and Radio Shack, among others.
