Framingham discount retailers the TJX Cos. Inc. increased its sales 4 percent year-over-year to $2.04 billion in November.
Consolidated comparable stores sales also rose 4 percent for the four-week period.
The company said the increase came despite a drag on cold-weather clothing sales caused by the warm weather over the month.
TJX said Black Friday promotions didn’t figure in its sales numbers because it offers discounts all year and doesn’t participate in the seasonal promotions as some retailers do.
TJX stores include the TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods brands in the United States, as well as other names in Canada and Europe.
