Southboro-based ViryaNet has been chosen by one of the largest utilities in the southeastern U.S. to provide automation capabilities for its mobile staff, the company announced today.
The utility chose ViryaNet for its software enabling the automation of the activities of its field service staff. The customer will use the ViryaNet platform to complement its current suite of CIS and human resource applications. ViryaNet was selected after competing with other participants in a bid process that included the incumbent provider.
Initially, over 300 users will use the software to help the utility increase service revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and create operational efficiencies through increased process automation, advanced reporting, and analytics.
