Three of Flexcon’s top executives have departed the company, as the Spencer-based film and adhesive manufacturer has named Nick Tucci as its new CEO.The significant leadership change sees CEO Aimee Peacock, Chief Operating Officer Nick Lupoli, and CFO Matt Gardner depart the firm, according to a Flexcon press release issued Thursday. Joining Flexcon as CFO in 2018, Peacock became the first woman leader of the firm after working her way up to the role of president in 2021 and adding the CEO title in 2023.Aimee Peacock, CEO, Flexcon Global. She declined to comment for this article.Lupoli joined Flexcon in 2022 after a stint as a vice president at Houston-based manufacturer Wyman Gordon’s facility in Worcester, according to his LinkedIn profile. Gardner also joined Flexcon in 2022, after more than a decade at New Hampshire-based printing services firm EFI.Flexcon’s announcement did not provide any additional information on the reason for the departures or replacement plans for the CFO and COO roles. The company did not respond to a request to comment further on their departures.Before being named CEO, Tucci served as the CFO for 44 Maple Group, the parent company of Flexcon, formerly known as Flexcon Holdings Trust. Tucci has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing related to Flexcon’s operations, having led major business units at Ohio-based manufacturer Avery Dennison. “I’m honored to join Flexcon at such a pivotal moment in its journey,” Tucci said in the Thursday press release. “Flexcon has a rich legacy of innovation and customer partnership, and I’m excited to work alongside this talented team to build on that foundation to sustain future growth.”Flexcon remains under the ownership of the McDonough family, with Neil McDonough serving as executive chairman of 44 Maple Group. Neil McDonough is son of Flexcon founder Myles McDonough.
