The MathWorks, a Natick-based software developer, said it has opened a new sales and support office in Bangalore, India.
The office will allow the company to better serve its customer base in India, particularly in the aerospace and defense, automotive, industrial automation and machinery and academic sectors. India’s “rich talent pool” of engineers and scientists is also attractive to MathWorks, the company said.
The Bangalore office will initially employ 30 people. The MathWorks also has offices in South Korea, China, Australia and throughout Europe.
