Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare announced on Friday it has formalized a three-year contract with the Service Employees International Union at Framingham Union Hospital, as a nurses strike continues at the company’s Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, over staffing ratios.
The SEIU represents a variety of employees in Framingham, including food services, environmental services and other patient care aides, according to the announcement.
A tentative agreement was reached on July 16 and then ratified on Thursday.
Tenet did not share details surrounding the SEIU agreement, but said both sides made concessions.
