Tenet hospitals restore Humana coverage

MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham
The three Central Massachusetts hospitals owned by Tenet Healthcare will begin accepting Humana insurance June 1, seven months after the hospitals went out of the network.
Patients with Humana commercial or Medicare health insurance can now receive medical care at MetroWest Medical Center facilities in Framingham and Natick, and at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Subscribers will have in-network access to the hospitals, sister facilities, physician clinics and outpatient centers associated with the hospitals.
From October-May 31, Humana card holders were able to receive out-of-network benefits and emergency care at the hospitals.
