Worcester software firm ten24 Digital Solutions launched a new company on Jan. 1 to drive growth for its headless commerce software, the company announced on Wednesday.
All current ten24 employees will become employees of the new business, Slatwall Inc., a platform designed for development and marketing, used by both B2B and B2C businesses. Right now, the company has 25 employees, with goals to hire between 30 and 40 new people in the next three years, according to CEO David Crouch.

“The entire focus of our business over the last five years has been marketing and supporting the Slatwall Commerce platform so it made sense for us to form a company to streamline these efforts,” Crouch said in a statement.
In announcing the new company, ten24 said the demand for ecommerce software has dramatically increased over the last decade, and is expected to continue increasing over the next six years.
