Tegra Medical CEO will retire in August

Mark King, CEO of Franklin medical device manufacturer Tegra Medical, will retire on Aug. 1, the company announced on Wednesday.

King has served as CEO of the medical technology manufacturer for nearly 10 years, and also heads the Medical Division within SFS Group, Tegra’s parent company based in Switzerland.

The company did not immediately provide information about who will replace King, nor what that replacement process will look like.

SFS Group specializes in mechanical fastening systems and precision formed components, according to its website. In a press release announcing King’s upcoming departure, the company said it plans to work on strengthening SFS through the Tegra Medical brand.
