Tech Contest For Businesswomen
A new contest will let a lucky Central Massachusetts woman entrepreneur upgrade her company's communications technology for free.
The contest is sponsored by Charter Business, along with Ladies Who Launch, a company promoting women-run businesses. Entrants must submit a short essay about the challenges and rewards of their businesses, along with an explanation of why they could benefit from better communications resources.
Charter will give the winner free data, voice and video services for one year, along with an HDTV set. Ladies Who Launch will also throw in a virtual business roundtable discussion facilitated by the company's founder, Victoria Colligan.
The contest ends Nov. 13, and the winner will be announced in December.
