Survey: Holiday Parties Worth The Cost

Even in a weak and uncertain economy, the office holiday party is worth the money, according to the results of a Creative Group survey.

The survey found 52 percent of advertising and marketing executives believe an annual corporate holiday party is "a good investment."

However, a full 25 percent disagreed and an equal number said their firms do not have holiday celebrations of any kind.

The biggest draw for corporate celebrations is the opportunity to socialize with colleagues, according to the survey.

The Creative Group is a staffing firm that specializes in marketing and advertising positions.
