Theikos, a Southboro-based provider of customer relationship management software (CRM), announced the results of a collaborative survey with Burlington-based Centive, a software developer specializing in calculating performance metrics.
The results showed that there is a growing dissatisfaction with spreadsheet-based sales compensation management systems and their inability to drive sales performance. The survey analyzed the systems used by U.S. sales and finance executives to manage sales compensation. 92 percent used spreadsheets or homegrown systems, and almost 70 percent expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of those methods.
