More than half of advertising and marketing executives expect their employers to increase investment in Facebook this year, according to a survey commissioned by Social Capital, a California-based staffing service for design, marketing, advertising and public relations professionals.
Facebook seems to be a focus for businesses, with 53 percent of the more than 500 people surveyed reporting a planned increase in investment on the social media site. But other sites are on the radar, as well, with 43 percent planning to increase investment in Twitter, 41 percent in Google+, 38 percent in LinkedIn and 36 percent in YouTube.
