Westborough-based American Superconductor Corp. today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 4.7 million shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $21.25 per share.
AMSC also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 705,000 shares of common stock. All of the shares are being offered by AMSC. The offering is expected to close on or about July 25, subject to customary closing conditions.
