Sundin Associates, a Natick marketing and advertising agency, has been certified a Women's Business Enterprise.
The designation for businesses owned by women give such companies networking opportunities, access to mentoring and educational opportunities, and potential recognition for leadership and accomplishment awards. Sundin announced its inclusion in the program Tuesday, which was certified by the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office of the Operational Services Division.
Kristin Sundin Brandt, the Sundin majority owner and president, joined the firm in 1996 and became its leader in 2012. It was established by Roger Sundin, Kristin's father, and Robert Donnelly in 1976.
“Certification as a woman-owned business is the next step in a career that has been marked by amazing opportunities provided by clients and leaders like Roger and Bob, who challenged me but never saw my gender as a limiter in a male-dominated field,” Brandt said in a statement. “It is also a reflection of my growth as a mom, business leader, athlete, and Girl Scout troop leader committed to demonstrating the importance of, and possibilities for, women and girls stepping into leadership roles.”
