Summit Lounge GM voted young entrepreneur of the year

The general manager of Worcester’s private cannabis lounge - the only one in the state - is New England’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Kyle Moon of The Summit Lounge won the award Friday at the New England Cannabis Network convention in Boston. He won by a vote of his peers in the cannabis community.
“The community really appreciates what we’re doing, what I’m doing and that there’s a need for social consumption,” Moon said.
The Summit Lounge, on Water Street, is a private club where only members can enter. Once inside, they can smoke anything legal in Massachusetts, including cannabis.
Because the lounge doesn’t sell or provide cannabis, it isn’t regulated by the Cannabis Control Commission.
“I think this just justifies the need for social consumption in the community,” he said.
