Sudbury’s Goodnow Farms chocolate company has been placed on a list of the country’s 50 best chocolate makers or shops by Food & Wine magazine.
While the company's owners are no novices to awards for their sweet products, this time around they are being singled out for having one of the United State’s finest chocolate bars. The list compiled by the editorial team at the magazine focused on Goodnow’s Spiced Apple Cider chocolate bar for its delicate and distinctly New England flavor.
“Tom and Monica Rogan started out in the trade just a little over five years ago, but have already managed to comfortably secure a place for themselves right near the head of the pack,” the editors wrote of Goodnow Farms in their roundup of the winners.
The magazine explained handcrafted chocolates have continued to evolve over the last year even though COVID-19 has stifled many other areas of the food and beverage industry. The magazine’s full list is available online.
