Idea Agency, a Sturbridge marketing firm, has been acquired by Pannos Marketing of New Hampshire, the Idea Agency announced Thursday.
Pannos Marketing is part of a larger company, the Evolution Group of New Mexico. Idea Agency did not say whether its personnel would be affected by the acquisition.
The change is effective this week, Idea Agency said.
“We are very excited about adding the high-level of brand and creative expertise that Idea Agency brings to our team,” Jim Pannos, the president of Pannos Marketing, said in a statement. “Together, we are well-positioned to be one of the premier strategic and creative marketing firms in our vertical on the national scene.”
Idea Agency and Pannos Marketing were both founded in 1994. Idea Agency, which was founded by Christine Tieri and began as Smith & Jones Advertising, has expertise in financial services, higher education, health care and nonprofits. Pannos is a full-service strategic marketing and communications firm that serves clients throughout the country and is known for its expertise in the financial services industry.
“I am thrilled that we have become part of this larger organization with the same high standards of quality, integrity and service that we have delivered to our clients over the past 24 years,” Tieri said in a statement. “We are very pleased that our legacy of brand strategy and creative expertise will continue to thrive as a part of Pannos Marketing.”
