Sturbridge plaza sells for $7M

A Sturbridge retail plaza anchored by a Shaw’s, JCPenney and Ocean State Job Lot has sold for $7 million.

The nearly 15-acre site at 178 Main St. last sold in 2002 for $7.5 million. Part of the site, however, was sold to Ocean State Job Lot in 2010 for $3.3 million.

The sale closed July 30.

Buying the property was Dragonfly Ibis Sturbridge LLC, which is licensed with a residential address in Miami. It was sold by EDENS, a real estate owner and developer based in Columbia, S.C.
