Casey Storage Solutions will add a fifth Central Massachusetts location, with plans to build a new facility on Route 9 in Shrewsbury.
The developer, PhilMor Real Estate Investments LLC of Worcester, said it received approval to build the 63,000 square-foot self-storage property, which will be operated by Auburn-based Casey Storage Solutions. Located at 757-789 Turnpike Road— the westbound side of Route 9 west, next to Price Chopper — the facility will feature indoor and drive-up storage units, ranging in size from 5 feet by 5 feet, to 10 feet by 30 feet. The facility will feature climate controlled units, secure gate access, video surveillance, and a retail selection of packing supplies and boxes.
Casey operates facilities in Auburn, Greenfield, Sturbridge, Webster and Worcester, as well as two facilities in Rhode Island and two in Vermont.
