Stonebridge Press Newspapers has launched four new web sites that the company says feature a complete list of local businesses.
The sites include two covering parts of Central Massachusetts, www.theheartofmassachusetts.com and www.winchendoncourier.com. Each site includes pdf files of the company’s local newspapers.
Stonebridge Press publishes the daily Southbridge Evening News, seven Central Massachusetts weekly papers and 15 other weeklies in Connecticut and New Hampshire. Last month, the company laid off five editorial department staffers and four part-time sales assistants and hired two new employees for a new web sales department.
