Bob Stone, owner of Worcester-based Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Central and Western Massachusetts franchise, was recognized by the company for his commitment to community service.
Stone received the "Outstanding Community Service" honor at the Davis corporate convention in Florida.
Stone and Donna Robbins, a Davis franchisee from Springfield, donated more than $175,000 in time, labor and materials to the Restoring America project for the Bish family of Warren. Sixteen-year-old Molly Bish was abducted in 2000 from Comins Pond in Warren, where she worked as a lifeguard. Her remains were found three years later. Bish's father, John, suffered a stroke last summer.
The extensive renovations to the Bish home were done last November to help John Bish get around the home more easily and to create office space for the Bish Foundation.
Paul Davis Restoration specializes in insurance repair and restoration work.
