Local radio and television show Wake Up Worcester will kick off the new year by expanding from 30 minutes to 1 hour, according to Hank Stolz, the morning show’s host.
The show began as a half-hour, weekly show on Charter Channel 3 television in Worcester will now air between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. beginning Monday, Jan. 12 on television and on AM 830 WCRN radio.
Stolz’s show focuses on local issues. Stolz is also part of the Peter Blute Show on WCRN. Stolz said he wants the show “to have a positive effect on what looks like a tough 2009.”
