Sterling’s DMH electric acquired by California green energy company

Sterling electric company DMH Electric, Inc. Has been acquired by Qmerit, a California company which helps households and small businesses transfer to using electric energy sources, according to a press release.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

The acquisition will help expand the electrification market in Massachusetts, namely through electric vehicle charging stations, said DMH in a statement dated Sept. 1.

DMH was founded in 1991 and is 100% employee-owned, according to its website.

Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Qmerit offers electric vehicle charging stations, battery storage systems, solar system integration, and microgrid solutions, per the release.
