The owner of upscale Webster restaurant Stave & Still is planning to open a southern-style restaurant and bar in Dudley by the end of November.
Jessica Valby, who owns Stave & Still, confirmed in an email she is also the owner of Whiskey Rocks Bar & Rodeo to be located at 4 Airport Road in Dudley.
Advertised on its website as “A little bit country,” Whiskey Rocks will feature a mechanical bull, axe throwing, craft cocktails and bar food, and a stage and dance floor.
It will be located in a plaza shared with Firebrands Bar & Grill and Home Outlet Dudley, and is located about two miles from Webster’s restaurant-packed downtown.
The restaurant posted a "Coming soon” announcement on its Facebook page in late August, and Valby said the hoped-for opening date will be at the end of November, but there is not a definitive time yet.
Stave & Still, which is also southern-themed, opened in summer of 2020.
