An HIV test that gives results in as a few as 15 minutes developed by Framingham-based StatSure Diagnostic Systems has been introduced to the U.S. market by Waltham-based Inverness Medical Innovations.
Inverness signed a deal with StatSure in September 2006 to be the test’s sole distributor, and the test is now available.
StatSure’s technology will be marketed by Inverness under the Inverness Clearview brand. Chembio Diagnostic Systems is licensed by StatSure as the exclusive manufacturer.
