The state Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, along with Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray and other state officials, has scheduled a "Small Business Town Hall Meeting" for Wednesday in Worcester.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Business Empowerment Center at 237 Chandler St.
The Worcester meeting is one of several being held around the state over the next several months. The meetings are free and intended to allow "open discussions about the opportunities and challenges of small business in Massachusetts."
Along with Murray, Andre M. Porter, executive director of the Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Mark Waterbury, executive director of the state Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance and Linnea Walsh, chief of staff of the Joint Task Force on the Underground Economy and Employee Misclassification, are expected to attend.
