The Massachusetts e-Health Institute, an organization established by the state to distribute health information, has decided to use Westborough-based eClinicalWorks‘ electronic medical records software.
The institute has made eClinicalWorks an “Implementation Optimization Organization,” making the company responsible for helping Massachusetts health care providers to get so-called “meaningful use” out of the EMR system.
The program will be run by the institute’s regional extension center.
Nationally, there are 60 regional extension centers like the one run by the institute.
