A new $2.5 million fund that will support public higher education through grants was signed into law as part of the recent fiscal year 2012 state budget deal.
All fifteen community colleges, nine state universities and campuses of the University of Massachusetts system are invited to apply for grants through the newly created Performance Incentive Fund for Public Higher Education.
The grant applications are due by Aug. 1 and must help advance the goals of the Vision Project, the state’s master plan to improve public higher education.
