State Bonds Up For Sale

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be offering $300 million in general obligation bonds for sale to individual investors on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the state Treasurer's Office.
The sale of the bonds will be used primarily for refunding, but some of the proceeds may go towards construction projects if state revenues are strong through September and October.
During fiscal year 2009, Massachusetts sold approximately $2.4 billion in bonds.
