It’s taken more than four years, but the reconstruction of the Burger King on Route 9 in Westborough is on track to open this summer.
The new 10,255-square-foot project will not only be home for the Whopper with a drive through. It will also include a Starbucks with a drive-through, and ConvenientMD Urgent Care & Walk-In Clinic, according to the Westborough Assessor’s Office.
The Starbucks at the Westborough Shopping Center, next to Julio’s Liquors is expected to close when the new larger shop opens, according to the assessor's office.
The $5.7-million project is being done by the 139 Turnpike Road LLC, an entity managed by Rosario Lattuca of Maynard.
The Burger King was demolished two years ago to make way for the new stores.
