Framingham-based office supply retailer Staples will be hosting 13 young inventors from around the U.S. on Monday at its corporate headquarters as part of the company’s inaugural Staples Invention Quest Kids contest.
The young inventors, who have each come up with an office product idea, hail from South Carolina, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Washington, Georgia and Alabama.
The 13 semifinalists will be narrowed down to five finalists, who will have a chance to compete in New York City for a chance to win $25,000 and royalties if their product is created and sold in Staples stores.
