Staples Survey Finds Small Businesses Anticipating Growth
More than half of small business owners view their companies as “heating up” and expect to grow over the rest of the year, according to a survey from Framingham-based office products retailer Staples Inc.
A majority of owners also reported that they feel comfortable leaving the office for a vacation this year, with 67 percent planning summer getaways.
Staples also found that 70 percent are planning to make changes that position their businesses for growth and 40 percent plan to increase marketing communications this year.
The survey queried 501 owners and executives of businesses with no more than 20 employees. The survey was conducted by Texas-based Decision Analyst.
