Staples stores will again be closed on Thanksgiving, but will be open on Black Friday, the office superstore announced Wednesday.
In-store deals will begin at 7 a.m. on Black Friday. Deals will be available on Staples.com.
It’s the first holiday season as a private company after Staples was acquired by private equity firm Sycamore Partners for $6.9 billion on Sept. 12.
“We know that the holidays are a special time for creating memories with loved ones and at Staples we want to ensure that on Thanksgiving Day our customers and associates are able to do so,” says Steve Matyas, CEO of Staples Retail. “For customers looking to relax while shopping from home on Thanksgiving Day, we’re proud to offer a wide range of convenient and flexible shopping options with amazing deals on Staples.com.”
