Staples Inc. in Framingham announced today that it will offer added support services for its customers with the introduction of “Staples EasyTech” service, an expansion of the company’s mobile on-site service program.
The program calls for every Staples store in the U.S. to have an in-store technician to assist customers with hardware issues, software installations, data protection and security, repair and troubleshooting.
Staples said that the rollout was done in tandem with the launch of Windows Vista. “By rolling out our services in combination with the availability of Windows Vista, home office workers and small businesses can benefit from this easier, safer, and more robust operating system right from day one,” said Bob MacDonald, vice president of Technology Services at Staples.
Staples Inc. is the world’s largest office products company.
