Framingham-based office retailer Staples announced Tuesday it has opened two new locations in Los Angeles and Auburn, Maine, which will include an expanded offering of remote work tools.
Both locations will be Staples Connect stores, a campaign the company launched in February 2020 to meet changing trends in the work world, such as co-working, remote working and learning, and solutions for small businesses.
The new stores will feature a new merchandising experience where customers can "try before you buy” to test out products before purchase. It will have printing and shipping services, as well as a Transportation Security Administration PreCheck site where people can ensure they will pass TSA inspection before going to the airport.
The Maine location will include wellness products and a designated co-working space.
Both stores will open Saturday, according to the release.
