Staples Dividend Unchanged

Staples, the Framingham-based office retailer, issued a $0.10 dividend on its stock for the second quarter, which is unchanged from the first quarter of 2011.
The dividend is up one penny from the second quarter 2010 dividend.
The company recently announced its pessimism about macro-economic conditions despite sales increasing 2 percent to $6.2 billion in the first quarter compared to last year. Profits were also up about 5 percent to $198 million.
