Staples Inc. declared a cash dividend of 10 cents per share for the fourth quarter of this year, the Framingham-based office retail giant announced.
The dividend will be paid next month to shareholders of record as of Dec. 23.
In the third quarter, which ended Sept. 30, Staples reported a 13-percent jump in profits over last year, to $326 million, despite the fact that revenues were basically flat at $6.6 billion. Through the first three quarters of the year, the company collected $701 million in profit on $18.56 billion in sales.
